War between states

A long time ago the north and south states of the United States were very different they were divided free states were slavery was not permited and slave stares where slavery was permitted .


In 1857 the Supreme court said that slaves had no rights. Many people American white people and African Americans fought for the slaves they help the slaves run away.  Harriet Tubman become in the most  famous person working underground railroad.


In 1860 Abraham Lincoln became president and he was not agree with the idea of having slaves. In 1861
 was an attacked near south Carolina and  the civil war started. On April 9 1985 the south gave up five days later the war ended and president Lincoln was assassinated.


People fought to have rights the same rights and they emigrated inside and outside USA looking for a better life.

A message in cybertime

This story is about Tarxa is a girl who is doing her homework . Find or gather all the informations about wildlife in earth because their classmates and she want to creat an virtual earth 2000.

One looking for information Tarxa typed wrong a letter and got in another site where there were two persons talking about the problem of bamboo that was disappearing . She decided to participate int the conversation she sent an e-mail to the person on the chat.

A few days later this person answered her and told her that the bamboo  problem had happened years ago but these days the bamboo is being attacked by a deadly bacterium she compromised to help with the problem and she did some searches.

The day of her presentation with her classmates and then with the parents of everybody at the end  they heard that scientist had recived information about the bacterium how to attack  and it was controled.

The process they did starting like cavemen and then their progress they reached 


How people from other parts of the world adapted to the enviroment, the ways that they used to ate when the animals die they began growing plants to have something to eat.


They started to build houses for their families; they started to form societies.

Around the world of music

This is the story a bout Maria and her love and passion for music her family is a musicians family all of them play some instrument or more and she explain why she loves summer time.


Is because her father is the director of an orchestra and when summer arrives they go abroad with him and the orchestra; she also says that she likes to hear music that she hasn`t heard before because that can help you to improve your skills learning from others.


Her goal is to be part of her dad`s orchestra.


She tells about the places she went with her family about their ways to play the instruments the tips all those people gave her and how these places are. 

An Interview with the Grimm Brothers

This is a story where the Grimm brothers are still alive and some is interviewing them and some people of the audience ask  them some questions about their stories.


They say that they are writing a German dictionary because they don`t have  a job because they opposed the  king`s actions  because they were unfair it was simply wrong  and they know what`s right and what`s not.


Then some one asked them where do or how do you do the ideas come up to your heads or somebody tells you the ideas and you start from there.
They said that some of the ideas are from they but other ones are from stories that people told them and then they continue adding of removing things.


Also they explain  the difference between folktales and fairy tales they said that folktales are made with real facts real heroes and places but the fairy tales are pure imagination like a dream.


At the end they said that after finish the German dictionary they maybe start to write stories again.

Gangs in El Salvador

Gangs in these days are a difficult problem because they are too much and imposible to stop all of them.


Gangs like Mara Salvatrucha started in USA in L.A by salvadoran inmmigrants. At the beginning the members of it  had the purpose of defend other salvadoran inmmigrants from others gangs.

But as the time was passing they started drug trafficking,robbery,extortion people and small business,money laundering,kinapping.murder,etc.


They are reconized by tattos covering theirs bodies and sometime the face, using their own sign language






Nowadays they are expanded all over North America and Central America and every day they increase their number of members.


El Salvador is a really small country that is maybe one of the most dangerous contries dominated by the gangs every day people are facing a horrible horror because then don`t know if to leave home they are gonna be killed.


     




Police is dealing with them trying to stop them because they are attacking more frecuently and even with more violence that characterizes 




   


We the salvadoran people have to help each other and try to be better persons every day. Also try to educate better the kids because many of them join to this gangs groups because in their houses they have problems like economic ones, or so many others types of problems.


We have to be aware that this is going to end when all of us gather and do things correctly and always trying to be better people.  

Mystery Summer

This is the story about a girl named Sara who is leaving with her grandparents and her dad in a new place in Iceland.

At the beginning she doesn`t like too much living there because she does not know anybody, she doesn`t have friends there so she is boring in that so quiet place without the noise that she is used to hear every day in the city with the all the loud noises of people and seeing bunch of them all day every day . 

So her grandfather realized that she was sad and he invited her to a walk they were to her`s grandpa favorite place and they saw the pufflings.

When they were back on the front door was a letter to Sara but she got confused because she did not know no one and she started to asked her grandparents and her dad if one of them have written the note but they told her that they haven`t done it so she passed days asking herself who has the responsable of the note because the next days she recived more. One day the note says "today is the night" the note also has a map this time so at night she went her family following the directions so they arrive and she saw that other persons were there too when a boy called her to help them to help the pufflings and they passed the night doing that then one of the kids gave her a note and told her read it when she did the note says

So since that day Sara got new friends to spend with them,having a good time and remember always those days that she was starting to discover and enjoy.
